I had my 2nd round of chemo on Wednesday, and I am happy to report that it went much better than the first one. The Dr. cut down on the amount of Benadryl and steroids that he gave me to see if that would help with the jitters and nervousness. It really helped a lot. Now I just have the weakness, tiredness, aches, and exhaustion. Which is still not fun, but better than before.
My hair had been falling out in large amounts, so I decided to have it shaved off. Gary and Reed decided to shave their heads too, to support me! It's not a pretty sight, but here are a couple pictures.
The guys before!
All of us after! Scary huh?

EVMCO That Easter Morn Concert
Wow, what a fabulous concert the East Valley Mormon Choral Organization put on last friday at the Mesa Arts Center! We had seats on the second row, which aren't the best seats in the place (too close to see everyone, and too close to hear the best blend of music), but I couldn't have enjoyed it more! The orchestra was amazing! All the different aged choirs were so talented! The musical arrangements were inspiring!
They have a Sunbeam chorus of 4-6 year olds that you can't believe are that young and sound that good! A Children's Chorus (ages 6-10) that were my favorite! A Youth Chorus (10-14), a Concert Choir (14-18), an amazing Adult Choir, and a unbelievable Symphony Orchestra rounded out the performers.
I'm only a little prejudiced because my son Reed sang in the Adult Choir, my daughter-in-law Becky played violin in the Orchestra, and my granddaughter Marina sang in the Children's Chorus.
They have another concert "O America!" coming up on May 19th. You won't want to miss it!
April, Joel, and Gary after the concert.
Andrea and Reed outside afterwards. Reed performed with the Adult Choir. He had so much fun, and did an amazing job!
